You guys!!! These cinnamon rolls are like the best thing ever, semi-homemade, extremely easy, and so very holiday delicious!
Overnight Breakfast
So Rhodes Bake n Serve has frozen cinnamon rolls and y’all I LOVE them! They rise perfectly, and bake into fluffy, lovely, wonderfulness.
I like to top them with a homemade mix between a frosting and a glaze, eggnog flavored.
On days that are cold and miserable I want a bite of comfort. Eggnog cinnamon rolls are just that!
They taste like memories and holidays all rolled into one delicious bite (or actually like 25 delicious bites because I have a small mouth and these babies rise and bake to giant fluffiness- see picture above for unbaked riseneness).
Christmas Breakfast
Now, Christmas might be cold, but it isn’t what I would usually call “miserable”. Still, if you’re looking for a Christmas morning breakfast tradition I highly suggest you consider eggnog cinnamon rolls
Rhodes cinnamon rolls can defrost and rise on the countertop quickly. However, Rhodes also has an overnight defrost and rise method that makes these cinnamon rolls a perfect freshly baked breakfast option!
Grandma’s Cinnamon Rolls
When my husband (who is now my ex-husband, but that’s a different story that’s not near as lovely as cinnamon rolls! Haha!) and I were dating, he took me home to meet the family. Then his grandma made cinnamon rolls and for the first time in my life I liked cinnamon rolls.
I adopted said Grandma as my own. I love her!
Then when I moved to Texas I tried Mrs Debbie’s homemade eggnog (for quick reference in case you don’t spend all your time reading my posts: Mrs Debbie is our other adopted Grandma) and I was eating a sugar cookie simultaneously.
Then, I had the thought “Ohmigosh how good would this eggnog be as a frosting!”
I’m here to tell y’all that eggnog makes a great frosting!
So then the two adopted grandma goodies were combined to make a treat that tastes like it’s straight from your best grandma memories…
Now, Enough talk, Let’s eat!
