Hey y’all! So if you are reading this page then you are already on the new domain. WELCOME!
Flirting with Flavor is rebranding. This change was unexpected and I’m not gonna lie: I totally cried about it for a couple of days.
However, now I’ve got my big girl pants on and I’m ready to go new places. Oh the places we’ll go!!!
I’m excited to have you along for the ride and thank you for staying with me as I transfer domains.
Please be aware that I am not the most technology smart person (and by that, I mean my 10-year-old son is WAY better at coding than I am), so you might come across some hiccups in the site. If that happens: I would LOVE to get feedback from you! I can’t make it better if I don’t know where to find the problems.
New name, same great food!
Dear reader, if you’re worried this new name means no more GREAT FOOD, then you’re totally crazy.
Haha! No just kidding… sorta.
But seriously, even though Flirting with Flavor has a new name: Tangled with Taste! It’s still the same great food!

Naming my Baby…
Some may think that picking a blog name is as easy as one, two, three… Y’all it was far from that for me! I am putting my heart and soul into this blog that possibly no body actually reads. But I’m still putting it out there.
And I would never name my heart and soul anything but what it deserves.
When I originally named the blog it took weeks to come up with a name I loved: “Flirting with Food”. I was told the domain is unavailable when I attempted to purchase it. However, I loved the name “Flirting with Flavor” even more when it was suggested by the host… Pure luck!
Then my unlucky side hit and a year later I found out that name was actually trademarked. Hence the rebrand, and changing my baby’s name when its already a toddler. Eeek!
Disney Princess
So now I had to come up with a new name.
Reader if you were to ask anyone who’s phone number I have, then you would learn that I was texting name idea after name idea trying to come up with a new name that fit me and my brand.
Nothing! seriously, nothing was as great as Flirting with Flavor.
Then inspiration hit!
My sister suggested I name the blog “Tangled”.

Reader if you’ve known me for more than five minutes or you’ve read the about me page, then you know that my dream in life was to be the voice of a Disney Princess. And if given the choice I would’ve picked Rapunzel or Princess and the Pea as the story.
However, other dreams took precedence and that dream will not be realized in this lifetime.
Hey blog! “You were my new dream.”
Now “standing here, it’s crystal clear; I’m where I’m meant to be!” (Well actually, I’m sitting in bed snuggling a naughty two-year old as I type this, but same diff… Ha!)
The name “Tangled with Taste” was decided from there. Marrying my two favorite things: Princesses and great food in one place for my life, my words, and my creations to be recorded and seen, or not seen.
