This drink is inspired by all the back-to-school feelings. But, whether you head back to school or not this Fall you definitely need this green apple margarita with hints of jalapeño heat. Delicious as a cocktail or mocktail.

A couple years ago I had a melon mocktail with jalapeño in it. Y’all that was a game changer for me. It was sweet, sour, and spicy all at once! That night I went home with a smile on my face and a determination to use jalapeño in all fancy drinks from that point forward. Haha!
Since that time I’ve made all kinds of jalapeño mocktails and today’s drink is the best recipe yet.
Jalapeno Margarita
Now this drink isn’t for everyone (because some people have that hormone or gene or whatever it is that makes cilantro taste like toothpaste). But if you like cilantro, then you’ll love this combination.
Note: the cilantro flavor is very subtle. This is not a cilantro margarita.
The apple and lime flavors shine here with backup singers cilantro and jalapeño.
Margarita Mixers
As you can see from my pictures, I use Agalima Organic Margarita mixers. I shoot imagery for their promotions and have come to personally love their mixers so much. However you can use your own mixer of choice with this recipe.
Additionally, the recipe can be made with either soda water to be served as a mocktail. Or with tequila to be served as a cocktail.
This is such a delicious drink. Perfect for a back-to-school friends brunch or ladies night!
