Hey there, food lovers! Today, I’m super excited to share my latest creation with you: Bang Bang Chicken Wings made in the air fryer. If you’re a fan of crispy, flavorful wings, you’re in for a treat! I spent the last two weeks perfecting this recipe, and I can’t wait for you to try it.
The idea for these wings came after dining at my local teppanyaki-style restaurant. I fell in love with their bang bang sauce while dipping griddle-cooked chicken into it. Then I thought, why not make a wings version? And here we are!
What is Bang Bang Sauce made of?
Bang Bang sauce is a game-changer! I make mine with mayo, lemon juice, Asian sweet chili sauce, and sriracha. The result is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy, creamy and tangy. It’s so good you will want to put it on everything and then maybe just eat it with a spoon!
Air-fryer Chicken Wings
I cook my wings in the air-fryer, but I’m also a sucker for wings made on the grill. This recipe is versatile!
No air fryer? No problem! You can also cook these wings on the grill or in the oven. If you’re using an oven instead of an air fryer then you will just set it to 400°F and then bake until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Grilling works great too; just make sure to get that same internal temperature for perfectly cooked wings.
Foods to serve with Bang Bang Chicken
Wondering what to serve with these amazing wings? Here are some tasty ideas:
- Crispy French Fries: Always a hit and perfect for dipping in extra bang bang sauce.
- Fresh Salad: A light, crisp salad balances the richness of the wings.
- Steamed Rice: The neutral flavor of rice pairs wonderfully with the bold taste of the wings.
- Grilled Vegetables: Adds a healthy, flavorful side to your meal.
These Bang Bang Chicken Wings are perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a family dinner, a game day snack, or just because you’re craving something delicious. Give this recipe a try and then let me know how you like it. Enjoy!
